Animation Frame Clips
I had an animation class quarter 4, and we had to use a character of our creation in a series of situations. Can you guess who i picked? Fox of course, which made my drawings very complex in comparision to mostly everyone else's, as well as very hard to do sometimes, mainly with his tail movement. But, since I couldn't get the actual animations up here, I scanned in some frames that are called "key frames" and that I thought showed the action the best. In animation you do keys, which are drawings that MUST be there no matter what, then you go back in and fill in "inbetweens" which are groups of other drawings that go in between the keys to fill in the complete animation. It's all very complicated to try to explain with words, but basically you have the must have drawings, and the others that just help those must have drawings, flow together to make a sequence. Also, since the point of the early classes was to show motion, the drawings are not exactly detailed. If you spend say a half hour on one frame, and you have 40 to do, that is going to end up taking a VERY long time. The key is to draw well, fast. So the drawings are for the most part, quick sketches, and it's just too bad you guys can;t see the whole animation, because i'm very happy with how they came out.
Since there is about 8 or so frames I show per segment, I have split them up and organized them by assignment. Beware long loading times on these, as I said, theres a bunch per page. Also, I shrunk them down after scanning, so don't bother trying to make them larger by clicking, thats as big as they go.

A story, Storyboard,  and animation frame clips from an animation that will be one of my final animations for AIP, Theres tons ofpictures to see, but it doesnt even come close to how many there ACCTUALLY are ( i aint scanning 500 pictures for this..) and with multiple layered scenes, i dont have anything. but, theres alot! check it out!
This is an Animation thats in color! Done with a program called "Toonz", this is how Fox might look if you saw him on TV.. Though hopefully better.. Go look!
The Above Drawings are my first model sheets Ever. In animation, you make basically blueprints of the character, so that someone else can do the drawings of him when they have to. Because in normal studios, ONE person does NOT do everything. Also, doing a model sheet helps you better understand the character yourself. We had to make 2. A head model sheet, with expressions. And A body model sheet with actions.. which are REALLY body expressions. Get it?
